Paris Vs. Toulouse: You say Revenge, we say Die!

Paris, Bercy was the place to be on that Saturday, March 2nd. It held the long-awaited and not-to-be-missed French derby event of the 2013 season: The rematch of the Paris RollerGirls All Star and the Nothing Toulouse!

The first meeting dated from July 2011 and had witnessed a crushing double victory of the Parisians during the French Connection I tournament, gathering the three pioneer-leagues of Paris, Toulouse and Bordeaux.

But the French landscape has evolved a lot since then and, earlier this season, Paris was challenged by Toulouse to organize the meeting that would put back the French crown in play.

There is no official French cup (yet) and the so-called title comes from a general assessment only. Yet, it was a matter of honor and Paris took up the challenge to prove who the bosses are!

Our All Star game against Windsor two weeks before had been very welcome for us to experience a first bout under the new rules set and adapt to it. In between, we had the time to analyse and correct our main mistakes -- especially slow reformings of the pack, which irremediably led to out of plays or failures to reform... and to decimated packs and players waiting in line to serve their box sentences...

3 Stripes Challenge: La Main in the Final!

Three crews are still in the running to win the Adidas Challenge.
The western spaghetti video of the Paris RollerGirls has been knocked out but the video of La Main Collective is in the final against two other videos!

There is this video challenge to win this undefined and unclear sponsorship with the brand. The aim is to prove that you have a great social network in enhancing your friends to go on the brand's website and like the video of your crew. The video with the more <3 wins.

As explained in a previous post, for the challengers, it is above all the opportunity to get free visibility and create a buzz.

I presented you earlier the western spaghetti movie remake "Le Ref Sifflera Quatre Fois" by the Paris RollerGirls, and now I am going to introduce the video of the second crew I am part of. No preferential treatment!

1. Upload as much multimedia material as possible on their website
2. Share them with as many friends as possible
3. Make them <3 your crew's production(s) on the brand's platform
4. Pray that you have the most views/likes to win an official sponsoring.

By lauching the operation, the brand gets new advert ideas for free.

By taking part in the operation, the crews are highlighted for free.

I am not quite sure that it is totally fair, but I guess it must be a good opportunity for both parts...
