Sport and Hydration

I've learnt lots of things at lots of different levels these last months.
And now comes the time when I start to come back on these experiences with a retrospective eye. I'm realizing that some of the knowledge I stored might be useful to others, so that I'm going to share in case it would be helpful.

I would like to go back on my encounter with a sports nutritionist who gave me diet clues to combine with physical activity.

I consider myself quite a healthy person as for food, but nobody is infallible and I jumped on the (free) occasion of seeing a professional for a couple extra details.
In analyzing my food habits, I would in fact say that I eat "practical". I convey that the comparison isn't actually to my advantage, but it's just like the persons who dress "practical". You know, the ones who buy the 2-in-1 trousers with a zip above the knee… Investing in short pants for the summer? What for: I just have to unzip my trousers to recycle them into shorts!

I just see food as fuel for my body. I know it's sad.

New PRG Graduates

Today was the awaited day of the second part of the Minimum Skills test for our Freshmeats who entered the league in February.

After three months of Freshmeat training, run by yours truly, ten of them took AND passed the test. A first at PRG's: 100% of success. Mother hen is proud of her chicks!

the conclusion of the MRI
I took this afternoon.

Remember that I had an appointment at the surgeon's lately? Alright, I only talked about what happened before and not about what happened next. I left the surgeon with:

1) an appointment for an MRI
2) another appointment to discuss the MRI
3) an appointment with a colleague of his for an iso-kinetic test. All of this concentrated in less than a week. Efficient.

FMyLife #3: Waiting Room

Today, I was in the waiting room for my routine appointment at the surgeon's. A patient sat next to me and started to make conversation, forcing me to take off my headphones and make DEV shut up.

After 30 min, a second patient arrived and sat next to the chatterbox, who changed victims bombarding the newcomer with questions, including "What time is your appointment? (...) Oh just after mine. So we're the complete trio, because the young man here is just before me".

Who, me?! FML.
